Handwoven
Bamboo Basket
Warm bamboo tones, an open weave and a neatly finished rim. A simple home for fruit, bread or the little things you reach for every day.
Details & care
Follow the individual bamboo strips as they cross and turn: the pattern is part of the basket’s structure, as well as its beauty. Its shallow shape keeps the contents in easy reach.
Fill it with fruit, or add a food-safe paper liner for bread and dry snacks. Photographs show styling ideas and a selection of baskets; the listed price is for one basket. Contact us to confirm the size and weave available.
Wipe gently and allow to dry fully. Avoid soaking, dishwashers and prolonged damp storage.
Traditional Lacquer
Bamboo Fan
A rich red finish over a fine bamboo weave. Traditional daqi lacquer is rubbed onto the fan by hand, bringing depth to every crossing of the pattern.
Details & care
Light catches the raised bamboo strips while the spaces between them remain darker. The rounded outline, slender handle and tassel give this fixed hand fan a graceful shape.
The finish draws on traditional Chinese daqi lacquer craftsmanship. Hand rubbing works the lacquer across the woven surface; it is an essential part of how this fan is finished.
Use for a gentle breeze or display beside a tea setting. Keep dry, dust with a soft cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners or extended direct sunlight. Display accessories are not included.
Blue & White
Bamboo Coaster
A blue-and-white decorative center, framed by warm woven bamboo. An open border adds a delicate detail beneath your daily cup.
Details & care
Small loops of bamboo form a light, open edge around the center. Lift your cup and the pattern appears again: a quiet detail for a desk, bedside table or afternoon tea.
The price is for one coaster. Pattern, color and weave may vary between handmade pieces; ask us about the current selection and dimensions.
Wipe away spills promptly, clean gently and dry thoroughly. Do not soak or place in a dishwasher. Intended as a cup coaster, not a trivet for hot cookware.

A finish that follows
the hand.
The bamboo is woven first. Then comes the lacquer, rubbed by hand across the textured surface of the fan.
Look closely and you can still see the weave beneath the deep red finish: light on the raised strips, shadow between them. The color becomes part of the pattern.
It is this meeting of material and handwork that draws us to bamboo craft.
